The layout of the search engine results page includes the following components –

The sponsored/ inorganic results are those results or websites that come at the top and bottom of the search results page. These are the ads that come on top of the search results due to the amount paid by the website owner to Google in order to promote the website/page and attract more traffic.

The genuine/ organic results are those results or websites that come or are placed after the sponsored results. These are the genuine results that are ranked according to the content quality and the amount of traffic on the website.

A knowledge graph is a knowledge base used by Google with the help of search queries that Google uses to enhance its search results. The knowledge graph is shown either between the search results or on the right side of the search results page placed in a box known as the knowledge panel.

G) Local Listings (if available)

Local Listings are the listings of various businesses or professionals that are related to a search query. These businesses are marked on the map. These results are generally shown according to a geographical area.
